Whilst we know that a pre-wedding photoshoot is very important and the bride will do almost anything and I repeat ANYTHING to make sure that the shoot is perfect, there are some things unavoidable which may cause the photoshoot to turn out bad.....
On 26th July 2011, we were scheduled for our photoshoot with Touch Collection and we went for our fitting weeks before. It went on rather smoothly in the morning although the make up artist was slightly late, but nevertheless did a grat job by covering my bare face with some fantastic make up tricks. I had a total of 5 dresses (including 1 on my own), 3 for studio shots and 2 for outdoor.
As I was changing into my 3rd dress for the day,I realised that my wedding gown for the outdoor shoot was missing!!! I calmly asked the representatives there and they insist that the other wedding gown which was hanging in the fitting room was mine. *Gasps*. I have never seen that dress before and I know that I would not choose a dress of that design. The girl then showed me the record of the dress against my record and it was written 37W. I insisted that is not mine and said that the other bride would have probably wore my gown coz I remembered clearly seeing it in the morning (FYI, there are 3 couples for the shoot on that day, but each with a separate photographer). They then took out the other bride's record and it was recorded 37W too!!! It seems that they her dress is from Klang and mine is from the SS2 branch. So, now it is clear that they made a mistake and the other bride is doing her outdoor shots already!
Conclusion: After a mere 10 mins of commotion, the girl still insists that the dress hanging in the fitting room is mine and I might have forgotten how it looks like, according to her it happens many times with her other customers! I was seriously pissed but did not show my temper coz I really like my original gown and was looking forward to it. Hence, we waited for the bride to come back from her shot and they did a quick "wash" and alteration to the gown before we head out to Putrajaya.
P:S: The normal me would have screamed at the sales girl but I was very patient that day in order not to spoil the mood for the wedding shoot. So, bride's tolerance can be quite high in order for everything to be perfect
