Buffet Review

Had buffet for 3 times in a week and we feel so bloated! No pictures taken for our visits but just some comments.

Thursday: Buffet in Garden's Hotel (http://www.gardenshtlres.com/dining.htm).
Food was ok but not quite worth the money as we paid RM95 nett each. If it is a group gathering then it is worth the money as discounts will be given when you have more than 4 persons. The spagetthi and salmon was good. As for the dessert section, we can even make our own waffles. Pretty cool. Ambience was quite nice too.

Friday: Buffet in Marcus's house in conjuction with Yi Leng's 1st bday. Caterer was Tuck Kee and it was a different catering style as we get food cooked on the spot. We had a variety of food from dim sum, to roast pork and roast lamb, to che cheung fun and even 'smelly tofu'! The food was better than the average and the party was mainly for close relatives and friends only.

Tuesday: Buffet in Tenji (http://www.tenji.com.my/)
Our first time in Tenji after the big hoo-haa for a few months. There was a promotion for the last 2 months since the opening of Tenji in Solaris Mont Kiara, but the crowd died down once the promotion was over. I used to remember where it was extremely difficult to get a place/reservation during the promo month and was surprised to find out that not only 1/4 of the restaurant was filled that night. We paid 88++ per pax that night and find that the food was not that great. Though the salmon sashimi, oyster, scallop and fried salmon belly was tasty, the rest of the food was just OK and we felt that Jogoya (http://www.starhillgallery.com/relish-tenant.asp?tID=84) has more varieties in comparison. But there is also Haagen Dazs ice-cream and chocolate fountain which we love! We left the restaurant with bloated and heavy stomach!
